Grand Rapids Dam Damages Report

Eskina was hired as a third party evaluator of MaPP’s co-governance structures and processes. To complete the evaluation, we designed and implemented a survey to gather perceptions, analysing quantitative and qualitative responses. We further designed, implemented, and analysed the results of key informant interviews. Eskina produced a final, comprehensive report, summarizing the findings of the evaluation for the clear interpretation of results by all MaPP Partners.

The Eskina Collaboration brought our expertise in research, project design, and cumulative effects management to produce a report for the S’ólh Téméxw Stewardship Alliance (STSA) that systematically provided background information, existing examples, and key considerations to support the creation and development of a potential Stó:Lō-led cumulative effects management framework and program.

Grand Rapids Damages Report

Eskina was hired as part of an independent expert team to categorize and assess impacts experienced by Opaskwayak Cree Nation from the construction and operation of the Grand Rapids Dam. This work includes the application of novel methods to quantify both tangible impacts (i.e., impacts measured in dollars) and intangible impacts (i.e., impacts not easily measured in dollars or through markets).
